DRMNAにこの5960kHzについての受信報告があり、やはり実際に放送をしていることが判明した。正式にライセンスを得ており一年間放送するようだ。
メルボルンの気象局局が出しているようで、出力は1kWほどとか。道理で弱いはずだ、オーストラリアのリモペルで何とかDRMの波形が見て取れるが、ここではDRMの受信が出来ない。
ACMAのサイトのよれば、期限付きでDRMの技術的テストをするようだ。放送バンドしかも5960kHzと言うことでまさかR.Flyがとも思ったがそうではなさそう。
